The perforations play a permanent role in the design of the sheet metal, which adapts to all color variations, but above all to all light intensities. From morning to night, the rhythmic movement is highlighted. In addition to its safety role for the railing, this type of dynamic perforated sheet metal can also act as a space divider, providing mechanical protection while allowing light to pass through, without completely blocking the view from inside the balustrade. Team advice

To ensure the mechanical integrity of the dynamic perforated sheet metal used in Seroyard guardrail infill panels, our Design Office recommends optimizing the laser-cut galvanized steel sheet with a thickness of 15/10ths to comply with guardrail safety standard NF P 01-013. Destructive testing was carried out using a bag under a dynamic load from a soft body with a diameter of 50 cm applying 600 joules of force, impacting the geometric center of the balcony guardrail infill panel.
